Since 2014, we have been hosting the GINMAKU Japanese Film Festival in Switzerland, and with the generous support of many people, we are very thankful to celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2024. Over the years, this festival has fostered a rich cultural exchange between Japan and Switzerland through the power of film.
It is our wish to share the unique charms of each country through our film festivals.
With that in mind, we are annually hosting the Helvetica Swiss Film Festival in Kobe, and the GINMAKU Japanese Film Festival in Zurich.
With four official languages —German, French, Italian, and Romansh—
Switzerland is home to countless untold stories waiting to be discovered.
